
The 2S Lithium-ion Battery Protection BMS Board – 7.4V 3A is a compact battery protection and management module designed for two lithium-ion cells connected in series. It is suitable for building 2S battery packs with a nominal voltage of 7.4V and a fully charged voltage of approximately 8.4V. The BMS monitors the individual cell voltages and helps protect the battery pack against overcharging, over-discharging, excessive current, and short-circuit conditions, making it suitable for rechargeable battery applications requiring basic protection and safer operation.
The board is designed for a 2S configuration, meaning two compatible 3.7V nominal lithium-ion cells are connected in series. During charging, the BMS monitors the battery pack and individual cell voltages and disconnects the cells from the charger when an overcharge condition is detected. During discharge, it helps prevent the cells from being discharged below their specified protection threshold. This makes the module suitable for battery packs assembled using 18650 cells and other compatible cylindrical lithium-ion cells.
The 2S 3A BMS provides protected positive and negative output connections for connecting the battery pack to a load and suitable charger. The board incorporates electronic protection components that automatically disconnect the battery when abnormal electrical conditions occur. Proper connection of the battery cells to the B+, BM/B1, and B- terminals is essential for correct operation, and the battery cells used in the pack should be compatible and properly matched.
