The APM 2.5/6 Pixhawk Power Module is a convenient solution for supplying clean and stable power to your flight controller directly from a LiPo battery. It also enables real-time monitoring of battery voltage and current consumption through a 6-pin cable. The module features an onboard switching regulator that delivers a steady 5.3V output with a maximum current of up to 2.25A. It comes fully assembled with XT60 connectors and is protected with heat-shrink tubing for added durability.
This power module measures both battery voltage and current, sending these signals to the flight controller. The controller then calculates the remaining battery capacity and estimates the available flight time. Additionally, the module includes a built-in BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit), capable of providing a regulated 5.3V output with up to 3A continuous current, ensuring a stable power supply for the flight system.
Note: This module is intended to power the APM, RC receiver, and related accessories such as GPS and telemetry radios. It is not suitable for powering servos.
You may also consider using an XT60 connector pair for reliable connectivity. These connectors feature 3.5mm gold-plated bullet contacts for efficient and secure power transmission.
