The AD8232 ECG Signal Acquisition Module with ECG Cable & Electrodes is a compact analog signal-acquisition board designed for electronics development, embedded systems, educational experiments, and biopotential signal-processing projects.
Based on the AD8232 single-lead analog front-end IC, the module is designed to acquire low-level electrical signals through external electrodes and provide a conditioned analog output. The signal can be connected to the ADC of a microcontroller or other data-acquisition equipment for waveform visualization, signal processing, and embedded electronics experimentation.
The kit includes the AD8232 module, 3-lead cable, and adhesive electrodes, providing the essential components for setting up signal-acquisition experiments. The board provides connections for the RA, LA, and RL electrode inputs, along with LO+ and LO− lead-off detection outputs for identifying electrode connection status.
With its analog output, compact design, low-power operation, and simple interface, the AD8232 module can be integrated with development platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and other ADC-equipped controllers.
It is suitable for ECG waveform visualization experiments, analog signal acquisition, embedded programming projects, wearable-electronics prototypes, sensor interfacing, signal-processing experiments, and biomedical electronics education.
Note: This module is intended for electronics development, experimentation, and educational purposes. It is not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, or use as a certified medical device.
