The AMS1117-1.8 is a fixed-output 1.8V Low Dropout (LDO) Voltage Regulator IC designed to provide a stable and regulated 1.8V output from a higher DC input voltage source. It is widely used in low-voltage digital electronics, microcontrollers, memory devices, wireless communication modules, FPGA circuits, and embedded systems that require a reliable 1.8V power rail. The regulator can deliver up to 800mA to 1A output current while maintaining excellent line and load regulation.
The AMS1117-1.8 features low dropout voltage, allowing efficient operation even when the input voltage is only slightly higher than the output voltage.
