The Arduino-compatible MEGA Prototype Shield V3.0 includes a mini breadboard, making it easy to build and test circuits. It features a high-quality gold-plated PCB and a compact layout with closely spaced gold pads, allowing convenient and reliable soldering of components.
This prototyping shield simplifies custom circuit development. You can solder components directly onto the prototyping area to create permanent circuits or use the included mini breadboard to test ideas without soldering. It also provides breakout access to all I/O pins and offers sufficient space for both through-hole and surface-mount ICs, making it ideal for building custom modules and experimental projects.
When used with the mini breadboard, the shield measures approximately 2.7 inches in length and 2.1 inches in width. It includes three mounting holes for secure attachment to a case or surface. Please note that the spacing between digital pins 7 and 8 is 160 mil (0.16”), which differs from the standard 100 mil spacing used for the other pins.
