This is a Robotics Switch Box Enclosure designed without DPDT switches. It can hold two DPDT rocker switches, making it an ideal makeshift remote for controlling your robot.
This enclosure serves as a wired remote control box for hobby robotics projects. To reverse the motor’s direction (for anti-clockwise motion), the polarity of the supply must be inverted, which is typically achieved using DPDT switches for “polarity reversal.”
A Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) switch is an electromechanical switch featuring 2 inputs and 4 outputs, where each input can connect to two corresponding outputs, allowing easy control of motor direction.
Applications:
