The KY-037 Microphone Sound Detection Module is a sensitive audio detection sensor designed to detect sound levels and acoustic signals in the surrounding environment. The module combines an electret microphone with an LM393 voltage comparator, providing both analog and digital outputs for sound monitoring and sound-triggered applications.
The analog output provides a real-time representation of sound intensity, while the digital output can be configured using the onboard potentiometer to trigger when the sound level exceeds a predefined threshold. This makes the module suitable for clap switches, sound-activated lighting, noise monitoring systems, security alarms, robotics, and interactive electronics projects.
The KY-037 can be easily interfaced with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, and other microcontrollers for audio sensing applications.
