This is the fully assembled version of the Pi T-Cobbler Plus. It is compatible with Raspberry Pi models featuring a 40-pin GPIO header, including Raspberry Pi Zero, A+, B+, Pi 2, and Pi 3. The Raspberry Pi has taken the maker community by storm with its compact, credit-card-sized design, quad USB ports, and versatile 40-pin GPIO interface. While older accessories can still be used with adapter cables, upgrading to a 40-pin setup allows you to take full advantage of all available GPIO connections.
The T-Cobbler Plus is a prototyping add-on board designed specifically for Raspberry Pi boards with a 2x20 (40-pin) GPIO connector. It neatly breaks out power, GPIO, I2C, and SPI pins from the 40-pin header onto a standard solderless breadboard, making circuit development and experimentation simple and organized. Each package includes an assembled T-Cobbler Plus and a 40-pin ribbon cable.
Simply connect one end of the ribbon cable to the Raspberry Pi and the other end to the T-Cobbler breakout board. The T-Cobbler plugs directly into a solderless breadboard or can be used with a prototyping board such as a PermaProto. Clearly labeled pins on the PCB eliminate the need to constantly refer to a GPIO pinout chart, making it easier and more enjoyable to design and build custom circuits with your Raspberry Pi.
