
The Reed Switch Module with LM393 Comparator is a magnetic field detection module designed to detect the presence or absence of a nearby magnet. It combines a high-quality normally open (NO) reed switch with an LM393 voltage comparator, providing a clean and stable digital output for microcontroller-based applications.
When a magnetic field is brought close to the reed switch, the internal contacts close, causing the LM393 comparator to change the output state. An onboard potentiometer allows users to adjust the trigger sensitivity, ensuring reliable operation under different magnetic field strengths. The module also includes power and status LEDs for easy monitoring.
The module is ideal for door and window security systems, magnetic proximity sensing, position detection, industrial automation, robotics, speed detection, and smart home applications. It interfaces easily with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, AVR, PIC, and other microcontroller platforms.
