While older Model B accessories can still be used with a downgrade cable, upgrading to a 40-pin setup allows you to take full advantage of all available GPIO features.

The T-Cobbler Plus is an add-on prototyping board specifically created for Raspberry Pi boards with a 2x20 (40-pin) GPIO connector. It neatly breaks out all power, GPIO, I2C, and SPI pins from the 40-pin header onto a standard solderless breadboard, making circuit building and prototyping simple and convenient. Each package includes an assembled T-Cobbler Plus board along with a 40-pin ribbon cable, allowing you to easily connect the Raspberry Pi to the breakout board.
